I started this blog while I was traveling to New Zealand back in 2008 as a travel blog and that what it mainly is, which a few bits and snippets of my life in between. It´s been quite a ride since then.
Initially I quit my job, left my friends and family to travel to Australia for a few months. That was in 2009. I arrived in the land down under with just a bag and excitement of the big adventure ahead of me. 2011 after the visa was up I left with a heavy heart, to travel back to Europe via SE Asia. Shortly after I settled back down home, I landed a job in London. As I always wanted to live there, I was in a happy place. Returning home was not so bad after all, was it? After just 10 months, I knew, London wasn´t for me after all and I moved back to Germany, just to score a job in buzzling Tokyo for a few months.
I´m sometimes lost in translation in this amazing city, but really having a great time, despite the massive work load.
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn´t do than
by the ones you did. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbour. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream.
